Sessions

Each session is 1 hour long in a group format and take place on a Wednesday at 5:30.

Methodology

On this course, we teach students a foundational curriculum. Students with more knowledge help teach newer students in order to solidify understanding, while also learning progressively more complex tactics and strategies.

This course is aimed at students who already know how to move the pieces, no more complex knowledge is needed.

Suitability

Students can be any age from 1 to 100 as long as they are interested in chess, they are welcome.

This course teaches students the basics of chess strategy and tactics, and aims to provide new players with foundational knowledge to build on.
